Pickolo's AI assistant interacts with your customers through chat, helping them browse the menu, ask questions, and place orders. Configure the AI's personality, safety filters, and external integrations from the Pickolo page in the bottom navigation.
AI Personality Sliders
Fine-tune how the AI communicates with your guests using 11 personality sliders. Each slider ranges from 0 to 1 (with 20 increments) and adjusts a specific behavioral trait. Changes are saved automatically.
The available sliders are:
- Hospitality — How warm and welcoming the AI is
- Humor — How often the AI uses jokes and lighthearted language
- Formality — How formal or casual the tone is
- Randomness — How varied and spontaneous the AI's responses are
- Personalization — How much the AI tailors responses to individual customers
- Efficiency — How concise vs. detailed the AI's responses are
- Engagement — How proactively the AI interacts and follows up
- Adaptability — How well the AI adjusts to different conversation contexts
- Upselling — How actively the AI suggests additional items
- Emotional — How sensitive the AI is to customer mood and tone
- Nutritional — How much the AI focuses on nutritional information and dietary advice
Tip: For fine dining, increase Formality and Hospitality while reducing Humor. For a casual cafe, lower Formality and increase Humor.
Safety Filters
Safety filters control what content the AI will engage with. Each filter uses a dropdown with three levels: Low, Medium, and High.
The four filters are:
- Dangerous Content — Default: High
- Harassment — Default: High
- Hate Speech — Default: High
- Sexually Explicit — Default: Medium
Note: Lowering safety filters may result in inappropriate AI responses. Proceed with caution.
Orders Callback
Configure an HTTP endpoint to receive notifications when orders are placed. This lets Pickolo communicate with external systems like property management or analytics tools.
- Navigate to the Pickolo page and find Orders Callback
- Enter your callback endpoint URL
- Save to activate
