Analytics

Order Statistics

The Analytics page provides detailed statistics about your restaurant's orders. You can switch between viewing order counts and product-level breakdowns using the tabs at the top. The overview cards show key metrics such as total orders, average order value, and peak ordering hours for your selected time period.

  1. Navigate to the Analytics page from the navigation menu
  2. The Orders tab shows aggregate order statistics
  3. View total orders and average order value for the selected period
  4. Use the date range selector to analyze specific days, weeks, or months
  5. Tap on any card for a more detailed breakdown

Tip: Review order statistics weekly to identify trends. A declining average order value might indicate opportunities for upselling or menu adjustments.

Product Sales

See which products are selling the most with the Product Sales breakdown. Each product is listed with its total quantity sold and revenue generated. This helps you identify your best sellers, underperformers, and seasonal favorites. Use this data to make informed decisions about menu changes, pricing, and promotions.

  1. Navigate to the Analytics page and select the Products tab
  2. Products are listed in order of total quantity sold
  3. Each entry shows the product name, quantity sold, and total revenue
  4. Scroll through the list to see all products
  5. Use this data to identify your top sellers and slow movers

Note: Products that have been deleted or archived still appear in historical analytics. This ensures your past data remains accurate.

Revenue Tracking

Track your revenue broken down by category: product sales, tips, and platform fees. Revenue tracking gives you a clear picture of where your money comes from and how much goes to fees. This breakdown is essential for financial planning and helps you understand your true profit margins.

  1. Find the Revenue Tracking section on the Analytics page
  2. Product Revenue shows the total from all product sales
  3. Tips Collected shows the total tips received across all orders
  4. Platform Fees shows how much was deducted in processing and service fees
  5. Compare these numbers to understand your effective revenue after fees

Tip: Export revenue data monthly for your accounting records. This makes tax reporting much easier at the end of the year.

CSV Export

Export your analytics data as CSV files for use in spreadsheets, accounting software, or custom analysis tools. Pickolo offers two export options: Orders CSV (with order details, amounts, and payment methods) and Products CSV (with product-level sales data). CSV files can be opened in Excel, Google Sheets, or any data analysis tool.

  1. Navigate to the Analytics page
  2. Set the date range for the data you want to export
  3. Tap Export Orders CSV to download order-level data
  4. Tap Export Products CSV to download product-level sales data
  5. The CSV files are downloaded to your device and ready to open

Tip: Schedule a monthly CSV export and store the files in a dedicated folder. This creates a reliable backup of your financial data outside of Pickolo.
