Menu Management
Create Categories
Categories organize your menu into sections such as Starters, Mains, Desserts, and Drinks. You need at least one category before adding products.
- Navigate to the Menu page from the bottom navigation bar
- Tap the add category button at the top
- Enter a category name and save
To reorder categories, tap the drag handle icon at the top of the menu. This opens a reorder modal where you can drag categories into your preferred position.
Tip: Keep category names short and clear. Customers see these as tabs when browsing your menu.
Add Products
Each product belongs to a category and includes a name, price, and optional description.
- Select the category where you want to add the product
- Tap the add product button
- Fill in the product details — name, price, and an optional description
- Save the product
Edit Products
Tap any product card to open the product editor. From here you can modify the name, price, description, or move it to a different category. Changes take effect immediately.
Note: Price changes do not affect orders already placed.
Product Photos
Adding photos significantly increases order rates. In the product editor, tap the camera icon to take a new photo or select one from your gallery. Images are automatically optimized.
Tip: Use well-lit, overhead photos with a clean background. Square images work best.
Toppings & Modifiers
Toppings let customers customize their orders with free extras (like sauce packets) or paid add-ons (like extra cheese).
In the product editor, scroll to the Toppings section. Tap Add Topping, enter a name and price (leave price at 0 for free toppings), and save.
Ingredients, Allergens & Additives
Each product has an Ingredients page with three tabs: Recipe, Allergens, and Additives.
- Open the product editor
- Tap "Tap to edit details" to open the Ingredients page
- Switch between the Recipe, Allergens, and Additives tabs
- On the Allergens tab, tap any allergen from the list to toggle it on or off
Note: Allergen information is a legal requirement in many countries. Keep this data accurate.
Multilingual Menu
If your restaurant serves international guests, you can provide translations for each product. In the product editor, switch between languages using the country flag icons. Fill in the product name and description for each language.
Tip: If a translation is missing, the product falls back to the default language.
Availability Toggle
Temporarily out of a product? In the product editor, use the lock toggle to mark items as unavailable without deleting them. Unavailable products appear grayed out and cannot be ordered. Toggle it back when the item is in stock again.
Tip: Much faster than deleting and re-creating products for daily specials or items that run out during service.
